Reverend TAJ Ogunbiyi and Ọọni of ile-ife, Oba Sir Titus Martins Adesoji Tadeniawo Aderemi at the British Conference of African Colonies held in London.

In 1941 Revered Thomas Adesina Jacobson Ogunbiyi, an Anglican Priest incorporated the Reformed Ogboni Fraternity. It was founded with the aim of blending some elements of Christianity with the existing Original Ogboni and this resulted in a reinterpretation of old tenants and symbols of the group.
Rev Ogunbiyi was ordained in 1889 and worked as a Church Missionary at Akure until 1903 when he was appointed Priest in charge of Holy Trinity Church in Lagos. He became Archdeacon of Lagos in 1922 a post he held until his death in 1952. As a member of the Legislative Council for 10 years and also was one of Nigeria’s delegates to the African Conference in London in 1948, Rev. Ogunbiyi was a man of great influence in and out of the Church.
He served as a member of the Colonial Conference in London and during this time he visited Buckingham Palace and was received by His Majesty The King. In 1946 he presented land in Obalende Road, Lagos to the Girl Guides Association for their Headquarters
Among ROF’s earliest members were Omooba Dr Orisadipe Obasa – the first Oluwo (Master), Ven T.A.J. Ogunbiyi – the first Olori Apena, Princess Chalotte Blaize Obasa – the first Iya Abiye, Sir Adeyemo Alakija – first Olori Oluwo (grandmaster), Prince M. Adesemoyin, Bishop Leslie Vining (first Archbishop of the Church of the province of West Africa, Sir Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Adetokunbo Ademola – Olri Oluwo ( grandmaster), King George VI, Ooni Olubuse II of Ife, Alake Ladapo Ademola of Egbaland, Chief Ladoke Akintola, Sir Ahmadu Bello etc.
