DON’T CALL ME A LAZY MAN
It is a common phenomenal among people to degrade their fellow human when they don’t have access to their personal life. Some people result in hurling out abusive words such as “he is a thief”, “he is lazy man”, where is he getting money to do everything”, “we are not mate”, “he is fake” and so on. It is not because you offend them but because they are jealous of your standard of living.
I will love to share one of the moral knowledge of Ifá to everyone in the Ifá corpus called ÒTÚÁ-MẸ̀LẸ́Ẹ́. Orúnmìlà was being called a lazy man because he was following the tenets of his Creator.
Ifá ní:

THE STORY
Orúnmìlà was living in abject poverty.
He was once cutting firewood in the forest and selling it. This business was not bringing profit for him. He left the job and started another one. Orunmila started fetching water and selling it. This business too was not profiting him.
Moreso, Orunmila went to join people that were cracking the rock maybe he might successful there. With all his struggling might and hardworking ability, he was not successful in any of the business he joined.
One day, Orúnmìlà went to consult Ifá. He could be liberated from hardship and abject poverty, he became successful and prosperous without much stress was why he consulted Ifa.
The Ifá Priests advised Orúnmìlà to perform sacrifices that all the businesses he had been doing was not in alignment with his destiny.
They told Orunmila to be doing Ifá work by healing people and saving them from all myriad of life challenges. They told him to be doing the work that would make him sit at home and be making money.
The Ifá Priests told him that he would become successful and prosperous if he complied.
Orúnmìlà performed all the sacrifices recommended for him. He appeased Ifá. Orunmila began to be sitting down at home. If a person was having headache,he/she would come to Orunmila for remedy Orunmila would heal him and he would gave money to Orúnmìlà. He would come to the aid of people who were having different life challenges. These people would come to Orunmila to thank him for saving them. They would give him plenty money and gifts.
The neighbors who did not see Orunmila went to farm to fetch firewoods, went to river to fetch water and went to crack the rock became jealous and started calling Orunmila a lazy man. People were saying that it is only a lazy man that will be staying indoors and expecting blessing to come to him. These people were making jest of Orúnmìlà.
Not quite long, Orunmila started having plenty money. He got married to beautiful wives. Orunmila had beautiful children. He did not stop there, he built houses and was using a horse.
People became confused and surprised. How could a person they were calling a lazy man be having these good fortunes? They started begging Orunmila for forgiveness.
This was how Ifá blessed Orúnmìlà abundantly. He became successful and prosperous.
