 Cleansing ceremonies, involving rituals like bathing or smudging with herbs, aim to purify individuals from negative energies or ailments.






 In Yoruba Mythology we have an ORISA called Osanyin, this ORISA is on charge of herbs and healing. 







Whoever has one sickness or the other is usually referred to this ORISA for healing.







In Nigeria , various ORISA has their specific roles which they used in helping man kind.
