That is because IFA knows that at full moon,ORISA OSUN and all her creations like the 7 sisters of the moon, iyaami ELEYE and IYAMOPO are all walking round the earth to energies the world .
IFA knows that rituals done at full moon are always ready to be accepted and such sacrifices are not just mere sacrifices .
I have said before now that OSUN is the mother nature who powered the moon in the sky .
