Ever since I came in contact with OBATALA, OLOKUN, OSUN, YEMOJA, AGIRA, AGEMO, IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO, SANGO, OYA, OLU ODO, ELEGBA, ESU, ONIMERE, Egungun, IBEJI, Kudeti, AJE OLOKUN, Egbe Orun, ORIMADE, sanponna, ORISA OKO, OSUMARE, OLUFA, AJELETI, AND many more. My life has never been the same .
Every ORISA has its own a way of talking , so to say or let me put that every ORISA has its own method of divination and how they communicate.
Every ORISA was giving the power to use cowries as their method of divination powered by the Father of creation OBATALA.
As Omo ELEGBA, I can use cowry to speak with ELEGBA.
Gone are those days that we have ELEGBA priest and priestess separately from Babalawo.
As OSUN priest I can use cowries to speak the mind of OSUN. Thanks to OSUN, we still have them till today .
As ORISA ONIMERE priest, I can use cowries to speak the voice of ONIMERE.
As SANGO priest , I can use cowries to speak the voice of SANGO. Thanks to my friend oko OYA, we still have SANGO priest today .
Every ORISA has the right to have its own divination as instructed by OBATALA.
Now, babalawo make it look as if other ORISA can’t talk until they see IFA , which is false
Other ORISA are not deaf neither are they blind .
In the olden days, every ORISA has its priest or priestess who speak for them and speak their mind with the people, just like we have OSUN priest, SANGO priest ,OYA priest etc.
On a final note, IFA speaks only about the best possiblity for you while connecting itself with other ORISA , while having a dialogue and listening to views from other ORISA which are more older than him. Eg IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO.
