Classification of ORISA according to their hierarchy, ranks and Power
A lot of people have tried in their own way to understand and give ranks to the ORISA but they couldn’t or there was flaws in their classification and hierarchy because they are blinded because they couldn’t see it all for what it is or how it is.
Our names is AJE NLA, we are the son of OBATALA and we are here to share small tips and knowledge to how you see the ORISA, we are to tell you which ORISA is superior in power to which ORISA and how power is allocated to each ORISA.
This article would only cover a few ORISA that are known by a lots of people
We have first class ORISA
We have second class ORISA
We have third class ORISA
And so on and so forth .
First class ORISA are those ORISA that were initially created after creation.
Second class ORISA are those ORISA that were born or made as a result of two ORISA joining forces together or joining forces with the classes of ORISA above them.
Third class ORISA are those ORISA that were formed or made or created as a result of two second class ORISA joining forces together or joining forces with the classes of ORISA above them..
And the list continue …
There is no law that forbid ORISA from joining forces ,if the situation arises they may be forced to join forces to create something new that would meet today’s need and challenges of the future.
OBATALA, the first ORISA on the list has no class. OBATALA is not a first class ORISA, second class ORISA or even third class ORISA.
OBATALA is way above any classification because OBATALA has lived forever before the creation of other ORISA . He is supreme and therefore cannot be classified.
Now let us talk about first class ORISA
ELEGBA is a first class ORISA
OSUN is a first class ORISA
OLOKUN is a first class ORISA
AGANJU is a first class ORISA .
Now let us proceed to second class ORISA
YEMOJA
IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO – They were created from OSUN and …. ( I can’t tell you all the gist of creation)
There are other list of second class ORISA but this is why I have to say for now
Now let us proceed to third class ORISA

He worked hard to earn his sport as a second class ORISA after the war of the ORISA. He was ranked higher
SANGO OLUKOSO was born from the forces of YEMOJA and AGANJU. He worked harder and was promoted to second class ORISA .

OGUN was a third class ORISA but I can’t say if he has upgraded into a second class ORISA or not.
SANPONNA (OBALUAYE) was a third class ORISA but has upgraded to second class ORISA because he loves war and justice .
OSANYIN is a third class ORISA , I can’t say if he has upgraded or not
Now let us proceed to forth class ORISA .
IFA was a forth class ORISA because IFA was born from the joining of ORUNMILA and …
I can’t tell you all about the secrets of creation and all that happened because it was meant to be untouchable until now when AJE NLA decided to spit it out.
Egbe Orun are forth class ORISA.
Now let us proceed to Fifth class ORISA
Esu IFA is a fifth class ORISA . It plays its own role .
Not everyone would agree with this classification and ranks of this ORISA but what I wanted you to know is that, this ranks dictate how powerful each ORISA and how they tends to use their power.
Taking for instance IFA and IYAAMI ELEYE, it explain why IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO always have a way to block IFA , be it babalawo IFA or ordinary person with IFA .
From the ranks above you can see why most people always call ESU and Elegba the same thing but the elders and adults who are about 96years old knows the truth about Elegba and ESU . They are not the same thing and their power are not the same.
In my next article I would explain the relationship between ELEGBA and OBATALA and talk further on why they created ESU.
I didn’t write this article to let you feel bad about your ORISA but to let you know that this ORISA follows ranks and they know to where each person belongs in ranks and power.
You may choose to agree or not, that is your problem because I don’t need your validation on what I write . It’s your life and your mind .
