Why is ESU always at the entrance ?

I was sitting down in front of my house starting at ESU right in the eye .

Suddenly this question pop in my head and I started talking to myself as I used to do.

I finally got the answer I needed so I asked someone who was there with me, why is ESU always at the entrance of the house ?

She replied and said she doesn’t know, that is how it has been and she doesn’t have an answer.

I have said in my previous previous previous before my previous article.
