Why is it that it was until Jesus hot baptized that he got powerful?
In the Christian family you are not yet a Christian if you are not baptized .
What is baptism?
Baptism is water Initiation.
They are initiating you with the force of nature which is water.
Whether the baptism was done with a cup of water or you were taking to a flowing river. Water is used and that is not baptism but water Initiation.
A verse from Ògúndá Méjì that speaks about purification with water:
Ògúndá Méjì Verse on Water Purification:
“Omi lo n wẹ̀ ká fi di mímọ́”
“Omi lo n sọ wa di tuntun”
“A dífá fún Arọní”
“Tí n lo ṣèrí omi èèrí lo sílé Olódùmarè”
Translation:
“It is water that washes us clean to become pure.”
“It is water that makes us new again.”
“Ifá was consulted for Aroni,”
“Who was going to fetch the sacred water to the house of Olódùmarè.”
Interpretation:
This verse emphasizes the power of water in cleansing, purifying, and renewing an individual.
In Ifá tradition, water is often used in initiation rites to wash away negative energies, preparing the initiate for a new spiritual path.
The mention of Aroni, a mystical figure associated with healing and purification, further reinforces the sacred role of water in spiritual transformation.
When next your pastor talks about baptism, you should know that they are doing Initiation for you .
