One ORISA can have many names

There are some ORISA that were known for a particular region and there are some ORISA that are known world wide.

You don’t need to fight over little things because little things matters and they do make a lot of differences .

Our ORISA are everywhere even though we know them as a name and they have another name elsewhere .

There are some ORISA that were known for a particular region and there are some ORISA that are known world wide.

Different cultures has their name for different ORISA and if you look closely, it might be referring to the same thing but different name.

Dambala in Haitian is a snake in the sky that causes rain to fall and at the same time responsible for rainbow.

Where as in Yoruba mythology the snake in the sky with such features is known as Osumare.

Every tribe has a different name for their ORISA but it doesn’t mean it is referring to a different ORISA .

The same snake symbol that most pharmacy use as a symbol of healing is referring to Agbodere

Though there are different species of snakes in Yoruba mythology eg Eleriko,Osumare,Agbodere,Olufa to mention a few..

White people take mysticism very seriously while we are riding on past glory while trying to make mysticism a myth or a thing of the past.

The Yoruba mythology believes that there are many ORISA that handles the water bodies which are OLOKUN, OSUN, YEMOJA, agira and many others.

If you look closely at the features of Olokun and that of Poseidon…. They look so alike that they might just be referring to the same Orisa or god **

The white man has delve into mysticism and they are revealing a lot to shallow minded people

if an African talks about other realms and mysticism people would look at that person as if insane or possessed
