What is Orisa

Yoruba tradition recognizes the Source Or Creator, called Olorun or Olodunmare. 


The Orisa are manifestations of Olorun as cosmic energies present in the universe and in all human beings. 



An Orisa is a spirit that reflects one of the manifestations of God.
