PRAYERS TO CALL FORTH DIVINE FORCES before casting OBI

PRAYERS TO CALL FORTH DIVINE FORCES before casting OBI

PRAYERS TO CALL FORTH DIVINE FORCES

This prayer is an invocation that calls on the Divine Forces in ORUN/ HEAVEN
to assist one as they CAST the OBI ABATA.
Akin moran! orun

(May the Divine Forces of Heaven/ Orun assist the Diviner on Earth)

Akin moran! ile
(May the Divine Forces of Spirit/ ile assist the Diviner on Earth)

Akin moran! aiye
(May the Divine Forces of Spirit/ on earth assist the Diviner on Earth)

After this recitation one may begin casting the OBI to ones Egun/ Ancestors or to their ORI, crown chakra.

The ORI is every ones personal Orisa your very own Crown, by strengthening your connection with the divine energies, one develops a very strong connection with their guardian spirit and the creator.

Disadvantages of OBI ABATA system of divination

Disadvantages of OBI ABATA system of divination

Disadvantages of OBI ABATA system of divination

THE OBI ABATA system is used to cast only a single leg of ODU.

You would not cast ODI OSE or OSE MEJI with the OBI, rather ODI or OSE individually.

THE OBI IS USED TO REVEAL SINGLE ODU ONLY.

While some may see this as limiting, in reality, single ODU is most often more than enough to provide you with exceptional insight and understanding.

On issues requiring a more detailed explanation should only be taken to an initiated priest to be divined through the proper ORACLE.
